bubble-tip-anemone 003 Got a Bubble Tip Anemone as a host for my clownfish. We'll see if they like each other.

I was at the beach last week and thought I'd pick up some new shells for the hermit crabs in my tank. The shells you buy at the shops on the beach are pretty nice and may look a little out of place in my tank, but I thought I'd try one at least. I stuck one in yesterday and this morning it already has an owner. You can see the new shell in the picture. If you look close enough you should also be able to see another hermit crab in his original shell.

My fish have been in and surviving pretty well for a couple weeks. It looks like I was able to get rid of the ick that was killing my earlier fish. I have been playing around with some settings on my camera to get better pictures. Here are several.

We'll see if my hermit crabs have at these snails. I put two, bigger snails in my tank after my hermit crabs ate the other four, smaller ones that I had.

bright-fish 157 I had bought some snail when I put my clownfish inthe tank. They were doing fine for a while but then I noticed one of the hermit crabs wearing the shell of the new snail.
